Three Days Ago...
My family was all home last week, I guess the Fourth of July had something to do with it. Anyways, we're (my mom and I) pretty big into gardening here at my house. We have a really big backyard with lots of pots and (overgrown) flowerbeds. Unfortunately we had to kill my favorite vine (it was destroying a power line and was immensely overgrown into the trees and tilting the power line pole), so the biggest flowerbed was something we didn't really want to deal with this year. Like I mentioned, we do have many patio pots and hanging baskets, though! So we went and got lots of flowers and ivy and the like, and then got right to work digging, potting, arranging, watering and feeding our lovely new plants. Here's what we've got so far (my apologies for the poor photography, I haven't quite mastered the whole Instagram filters thing):
Bright pink petunias. The birds planted these, actually!
